The new world record for solving the Rubiks Cube was set in 11.13 seconds… I dunno if I could do it in 11.13 minutes?

Picky cat.

My cat is picky. I bought her a new fleece style lil mat for sleeping on under the chair she usually hangs by. She won’t go on it and seems to not like it. I think it reminds her of the one in her pet taxi. If anyone wants to buy it from me in about a week let me know. I have a feeling it won’t get used heh…

I hope I don’t get sick from the 20 degree drop in temps we just had. But it’s WI and it’s expected. I’ve got zithromax power working for me now so I think I’ll be ok. I head to Dallas in a few days. It looks like it’s in the upper 60′s down there. Though we’ll be mostly inside.

I’ve just realised I’ve had like one cup of coffee this year… I think I need to make some coffee… might be a record actually.

I never thought I’d see the day…

But unfortunately I’ve just learned that Camp Snoopy and everything Snoopy
is being pulled from the Mall of America. They couldn’t work out a deal
apparently with the brand. The new park will just be “The Park at the MOA”
for now. It’ll all be torn down by January 19th…….

Hate_the_cough

I am sick of being sick of being sick. For weeks I have coughed and coughed. I stay up cos I cough, I don’t sleep well. I take stuff. I cough all day. I get headaches. It’s been about 2 weeks now at least with this thing. Finally I’m just going to call the Dr. and see what they think. I yelled at Jen this morning ( sorry :-

Before and after scans of letters we got at the apartment. They said they had a guy in for a heating inspection and told them our litter box was right on the carpet. (which you can’t do). And it’s never been on the carpet. It’s been on a welcome type mat the whole time since we’ve been living here. We got a nasty letter, which our manager also found it to be rude too! Here they are:

Some sports ramblings..

* WI only gets #15 after making a joke out of Auburn and Auburn ends up one ahead of us. Say what?

* USC v. Texas was an unbelievable game. Caught the last half of 4th Q last night. Can’t say I’ve seen a better ending in a while. Just nuts.

* Someone mentioned a rumor that if Green Bay or New Orleans picks Reggie Bush from USC that he won’t go. What’s with these people these days that feel they can pick who drafts them? (Cough Eli Manning). If that info. is true or not, it’s not confirmed.

* Brewers signed Dan Kolb to a one year deal I saw. Getting excited about them for 06. Welcome back!

* Unfortunately the Bucks lost last night. I thought they had the game.

Urge? I think not..

M$ let it known that they can’t have Apple making all this money and M$ not. That’d just be very “monopoly” of them right? So M$ has brought us URGE. Well they’re coming out with “Urge” a rival to iTunes. It’ll have exclusive (Emp-ty TV .. aka MTV) music that won’t be compatible with iPods. Of all people they pick Justin Timberlake to help introduce it. Hmm, that sounds like a winner…

Also be warned Pete Townsend says you’ll possibly be at a hearing loss if you use iPods. Here’s an article kinda about the subject.

McCharges

New charge at the evil McDonalds restaurants. When you eat in now – you pay a 5% “eating in” charge. My Dad was in there today, and heard another customer asking McDonalds why the bill was higher (Then the cashier mentioned the fee to them). The customers then asked the cashier to change it to take out, to save the .25 or so odd cents.

What is the purpose of that extra fee? Your not being done any favors only using a booth to eat your food. They don’t serve you or ask if you want refills.. just another reason I need to really stop going there. I always say the food gives me gut rot and yet I haven’t given it up. Must be those fragrances they use to make their food smell more appetizing. Yeesh.

Happy 2006!!

Hope all have a good New Years this weekend. 2006 hopefully will be an exciting one. I will soon have my car paid off, which to me is a big thing. Since I was in HS when I was 17 I have never ‘not’ had a car loan. I’ve either had to get a new car or just never got to pay one off yet. Note I have had 7 cars in 13 years of driving.
